First Graders Playing Glockenspiels

First graders are working on melody patterns using three pitches: Do Re Mi.

After practicing the patterns together as a class, the kids split into partners to practice on their own. They each practiced playing the patterns, then quizzed each other! One partner would secretly pick a pattern and play it for their partner -- who had to guess which one it was!

I was so impressed by their teamwork!
